See-saw Rules
Why do we have these rules?
Rules
Conflict Resolution:
For quick and easy (Yes/ No... He said / She said) problems - students should engage in Rock / Paper / Scissors.
If teachers are finding that students are complaining or not able to resolve their recess conflicts... students have been made aware that teacher(s) may suspend that student (s) participation in that area of recess (or game) - or may simply take that game or equipment away as a recess choice.
Why will teacher suspend participation? - Because there are no benefits to students (or teachers) if a large portion of students are returning to class from recess angry or upset... Mr. B can help students find their "next best" at recess, if student(s) need help.
- Students are jumping off see-saw are getting hurt.
- Students knocking each other off the see-saw and our getting hurt.
- Students are standing on the see-saw and either hurting themselves or hurting other students.
